We switched our sports day to Thursday because Friday's weather forecast was not looking too good...and it was definitely a wise move!
The sun was out and the birds were singing for our fantastic sports day down in the pitch, yesterday. I think everyone will agree that it was the best sports day yet, and that was because of a few different things.
We are so proud of all of the boys and girls for behaving so well and participating in every game so enthusiastically! They had great fun at every station and beaming smiles from all the children showed how much they enjoyed it.
The teachers deserve a big "Thank You" for preparing such interesting & cool games for everyone and keeping the stations going on time, without any mix ups!
Lastly, but definitely not least of all, a MASSIVE thank you to our wonderful parents for turning up to support us on the day. It was lovely to see so many cheer us on and enjoy the sunshine at the same time.
The smiling parents at the BBQ station worked extremely hard on the day to make sure that our tummies were full and our thirsts were quenched. They truly did make the day for us as it was such a treat to have such tasty drinks, burgers and sausages after all our running around. We cannot thank you enough for being so patient, kind and generous to us. We had a super day and you just topped it off for us, so brilliantly!
