Our Heroes Return (10-5-2016)

We travelled out to Cregmore to play our 13 a side hurling championship. We were in a group which included Gaelscoil Mhic Amhlaigh, Cregmore and Ballymana. We first faced Ballymana and had a fantastic win where all the the panel got a chance to play. It was great the younger members of the squad do so well. Next up was a physical encounter with Gaelscoil Mhic Amhlaigh. The majority of their team were in sixth class so we showed a lot of heart and no shortage of skill to overcome them. The next match was our final on the day. Cregmore had also won their first two games so it was going to be winner takes all. We had to play against a very strong breeze in the first half and were delighted  to be leading at half time. The boys kept up their excellent standards in the second half and we were ecstatic at the final whistle. We are through to the County Finals which are on the 9th of June in Clare Galway. We hope youcan come along and support us.
